A Rockstar’s Rise

Music has been woven into the part of my life since I was young. Growing up, my dad was a true music lover, and he introduced me to the world of sound and rhythm with a playlist that spanned the globe. From the legendary beats of Michael Jackson to the roaring riffs of Led Zeppelin, Madonna's iconic vocals to the electrifying energy of AC/DC, I was raised on the anthems of the '80s and '90s. This rich foundation of musical influence ultimately propelled me into creating my own sound, inspiring a lifelong journey in music.

One day, as a wide-eyed kid, I told my dad I wanted to become a rockstar. He laughed, then told me to do it "on my own expense." I chuckled too, not fully understanding his point back then. But now, I see his words were laced with wisdom: he wanted me to understand that the things you achieve through your own hard work are the ones you value most. At that point, as a schoolboy dreaming of electric guitars, Marshall amps, and fancy floor pedals, saving up became my new mission. It was all worth it, though; each step along the way taught me the importance of dedication. I began teaching guitar, slowly earning enough to invest in the equipment I needed.

From those early days of guitar lessons to performing in rock shows, every cent I made went back into my passion. One memory stands out: we were preparing for the Channel V Hunt for Rockstar, a massive event in Gurgaon. I desperately wanted to get my hands on a POD HD500 for that perfect sound, but I was short on funds. That’s when my mom stepped in and surprised me with the equipment. I was speechless. The support of my parents during those crucial moments was everything.

Breaking into the industry was no easy feat, especially when it came to getting my music recognized on major platforms. In 2013, I set my sights on Times Music. It took months of relentless meetings, emails, and follow-ups, but finally, my music was released under a prominent label—a milestone moment.

My journey has been filled with unforgettable achievements. Winning the Airtel Indian Rockathon, a prize of 1 lakh rupees, was thrilling, and having my music featured on Times Music was a dream come true. I’ve had the opportunity to perform at the Channel V Launch Pad in Goa, further cementing my place in the music world.

Today, as I look to the future, my goal remains simple but steadfast: to make music and share it with the world for as long as I can. With modern technologies and integrated platforms, releasing music has never been easier, allowing me to connect with fans across every corner of the globe.

This journey from a schoolboy with big dreams to a musician on recognized platforms has been a labor of love, resilience, and countless late nights. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Every step has taught me to appreciate the value of creating something from the ground up. And as long as I’m here, the music will keep coming.
